Like we first mentioned it on our Rose gold harvest, all our Rose gold parents/brooders are already F3 generation Xback/Red hybrid. Thus, DFI did not mix the two breeds to obtain their Rose Gold. Instead, we buy hybrid Xback/Red fishes from other CITES farms, raise them till adulthood, and produces our first batch of Rose Gold.
To what we see, though not all, most of our Rose Gold tend to look like that of the xback, but with a unique purplish-pink tint.
