: Hi John,
: Appreciate your interest in our fishes.
: OK, first thing first, the DFI bred Blood reds are all those with tags starting with 133 or 134XXXXXXA while the Indo bred ones, 0A00xxxxxx.
: Our captive bred ones are only about 5 inches while the Indo ones, 7-8 inches if I am not wrong. Body shape wise, they are about the same and colour wise, most are blue based. Then, you may ask, how to choose?
: Well, John, its kind of hard for me to receommend you which one to buy, however you must compare the individual fishes with one another. Don't care if they were bred in Spore or Indo, just buy the one which you fancy.....go for larger finnages, nicer shape, better colour, grand and confident swimming style etc.
: Best regards.
Hi Julia,
Thanks for your comment!
I noticed the DFI bred base color is more blue, while the Indo one if more pale and white in color. Just wonder are the DFI bred 100% blood red or with some chili genes?
