Hi
Malaysian goldens are also known as Cross back goldens in Singapore. Kindly check out the numerous photo galleries of our website to see for yourself how a Cross back golden should look like. A picture paints a thousand words I guess.

The main difference between a Cross back and a Yellow tail/Green is such that a Cross back being a golden arowana, will have gold rims around each scale. Plus, its 3 back fins have a two tone colouration compared to a YT/Green which have only a single tone.

Last but not the least, there is no such thing as a 'steal/bargain buy'. The price that you have paid is a good indication of whether its a genuine Malaysian golden or not. Of course, buying from reliable shops and/or reputable arowana farms help.

Regards.

Regards.
